Barney Jones
Director of Search
Barney Jones is Diffusion’s Director of Search. He began his online marketing career in PR, working for specialist financial and corporate PR agency Cubitt Consulting on campaigns for clients including Adecco, Telekom Austria and Somerfield.
He then joined Google in 2002 working with some of Google UK’s largest customers including eBay, Argos, Amazon, Lloyds TSB, BT and Sony, with responsibility for maximising the ROI from their search marketing campaigns.
As well as paid search expertise, from 2006 Barney acted as an independent consultant working with leading and emerging brands on natural search engine optimisation strategies.
At Diffusion Barney works directly with clients and their SEO agencies to use the power of search engine marketing to optimise the effectiveness of PR campaigns and to monitor and safeguard brand reputation.
